First are waiter was very cold. And didn't seem like he was happy to serve us. Second are meals not the best. 7oz steak and chicken milanese extremely oily...on the bright side. Chopped salad fabulous. We are a couple who frequent hyde park 4 or 5 times a year. Have never experienced a bad waiter. Truly disappointed. Hope this wont happen again..

Went NY Eves. We have eaten there many times before without a problem and the food has always been very good. Gave us a high top right by the door and near the hostess stand so a noisy location with people walking right by our table all night. Service was attentive and polite and our food came in a timely manner. Everything (drinks, salad, sides) tasted fine except the most important item, the steak. Not at all up to their usual standards - not as thick or tasty as a $67 16oz ribeye should taste. Had little marbling. First bad experience I’ve had there, so I will give them another chance.

NYE, first time diner, and mostly pescatarian, but will make an exception for tenderloin filet. Ordered wild mushrooms and spinach gratin from the sides as an app and they were excellent. Next course was French onion soup and it was so rich and deep with extraordinary flavor. Next course, I ordered caesar salad and my husband ordered the wedge - excellent - the caesar dressing was the best I have ever had. Final course, we shared a 6 oz tenderloin filet and a millionaires potato - both amazing! Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. we were not rushed at all which was greatly appreciated considering it was NYE. Our reservation was at 5:15 and we paid the check at 8:30. A truly lovely experience all around. Will definitely dine there again. 5 STARS!

Hyde Park is our favorite restaurant. The ambience, the food, the staff make the best experience. We have never had a bad meal and our drinks our perfect every time. We simply cannot say enough great things.

We went to Hyde Park to celebrate our 28year wedding anniversary and an early birthday for our daughter. Food was outstanding as it always is. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was lovely.

We had an incredible dinner here last year during the holidays and wanted to make it an annual thing. We made reservations weeks in advance yet were seated at a small table in the bar wedged against the service station. Drinks were great, apps and soup were great, steak was great, lobster was flavorless. Our biggest issue was our server. For a $500 dinner we would expect to at least be checked on, have drinks refreshed, and bring the correct drinks. We were so disappointed after such a good experience last time. With many good options in Sarasota we likely won't go back.
