This was not the Hyde Park experience we expected. We have been dining here for years and last night it was just “off”. Service was really wonky. Started off great and then, just stopped. We were never offered another cocktail- had to track someone down. Starters came out and no one came back to check- our salads were missing dressing, a new server came by and was surprised to hear we had already placed our order 20 minutes prior. So- entrees were late and we consistently had plates stacked up at our table. We asked the 3rd server if they were super busy and he reported “no, not tonight”…..so that wasn’t the issue. We planned to have dessert, but the check was brought to us. So weird. The table next to us had attentive service. We joke about the irony! We have never tipped less than 20-25% until last night. It was a very odd experience, especially at Hyde Park.

Dinner was exquisite, wait staff amazing. Cory was our server and she was incredible. We were in a section close to the bar and there was a pianist that performed throughout dinner which added to the dining experience. Highly recommend Hyde Park of Columbus for your fine dining.

This is my first time at Hyde Park Steakhouse and I waa not impressed. Our service was great but the food was mediocre.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our four-year anniversary. The staff was exceptional at bringing specials to our attention, answering our questions, and giving us time to enjoy one another! The steak griffin was to die-for, highly priced but worth the experience!

Fantastic first experience at this very nice restaurant. Staff were pleasant and interactive, and the ambiance was very good. Food was cooked perfectly.

It was my sister’s 50th birthday. We waited an hour for appetizers (raw oysters, tuna tartare and crab cakes) only for our salads to come out. I had to wonder around the restaurant looking for our server to tell her we never got our appetizers. Steaks were fine but my sister and I split a lobster tail that comically looked like a sliver of shrimp. They did take the lobster off the bill. They brought my sister a dessert for birthday but she doesn’t like bananas so it went uneaten. She came back and tried to bring a different dessert but we were over it by that point. My husband got one drink at the beginning and sat with an empty glass most of the night. For the expense it was overall not great.

Our reservation was at 6:15 and we didn’t finish until 9 due to the very slow and poor service. While we had 2 wait staff, we constantly had to ask other staff members walking by for drinks or status on our order bc they didn’t check on us. They said the food tickets got lost but no one checked in, we had to ask in order to get this info. Drink orders were also painfully slow, sometimes arriving 30 minutes after we ordered. There were empty tables in the restaurant, so this was not an issue of being overly busy, which still wouldn’t have been an excuse. Finally my steak was cooked wrong and was dried out. I ordered medium rare and it was closer to medium well. This was not at all worth the over $600 bill for a table of 4. I would not recommend.

This restaurants vibe is beautiful. The entrance is a little weird. There were several people waiting to be seated and not enough seating to wait for our table. The drinks helped though. Everything else was amazing and the entrance and wait was not the greeters fault at all. The restaurant should have more seating for those waiting.
