Bringing Southern comfort food to the heart of South Boston, Hunter's Kitchen + Bar is brought to you by the same team as neighborhood staples Lincoln & Capo. Executive Chef Lambert Givens serves up southern-inspired classics like his signature gumbo, chicken & waffles, and smoked meats. Behind the bar, Hunter's has a wide range of beers, whiskeys, and craft cocktails.

**Please note: Patio tables are on a first come first serve basis and by request only. Please note your reservation if you would prefer to sit outside and we will do our best to accommodate**

Hunter's has live music Sunday - Thursday beginning at 9 PM, and Friday at 5pm, Saturday at 3pm, and Sunday at 2pm.

The food is delicious, even though they were out of three different menu items we tried to order. Seems odd for a Wednesday night at 7:30, but we found other things to eat. Other than that the only issue is the same issue at almost every other restaurant in town, too loud. I would love to be able to have a nice week night dinner without going home with a sore throat, but I guess that’s not how we do things anymore. Our server was really sweet and the music was good.

Food was great and came out fast. Mid-day on Sunday meant restaurant was very packed and rowdy so people are occasionally passing through, bumping into you, and loud. Nonetheless, the service was very good so a good time overall

Made us leave prior to ordering entrees due to another reservation behind us. They never informed us of this policy and knew we wanted to order entrees. The waitress only informed us as we went to order. It was handled poorly. They also promote themselves as an LSU bar, so we went to watch the game and had to leave in the middle which was frustrating. Their TV set up is not good to watch games, so I would not advise going there if you want to sit at a table and also see a TV.

Incredible food- biscuits, cauliflower, and the gumbo (!!!) were my favorites. Cocktails were good too. Love the decor and the music!! Energetic atmosphere was a bit loud with the bar scene right next to the dinner table - had to yell to talk. Definitely a 20s/30s crowd for that reason. Definitely make a reservation! Line outside for the bar was long at 6 on a Saturday… supposedly a line started forming at 2!! We will absolutely be back.

Great food. A bit salty but good portions for the price. Loved the live music, a bit loud for dinner on a Saturday night but great for drinks and appetizers

Food was amazing and the portions were great size! The burgers were elite and the wings were really good. Loved the country music on the speaker too
