The first Hummus Bar and Grill Restaurant is conveniently located in Tarzana Village Shopping Center on Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana, and boasts plentiful parking. The simple unpretentious environs of the restaurant create the experience of a Tel-Aviv outing.

The room to the left can get get loud, especially with kids running around, but it is still pleasant. The mushroom hummus is insanely good, though at $19... welcome to the new world of dining out. The rib eye skewer is delicious and enough for two to share. My only wish is the onions were grilled or cooked more. They were almost raw. Still a good compliment to the meat, but... The service is very friendly and easy going and overall, this is still a great place to eat.

Lively and bustling as always. Fresh, fragrant delicious Israeli food! The kind of food you crave! Worth traveling for and the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ price tag. The tables are a bit too close to each other, and the service is under staffed during a full house. But overall, the food makes it all worth it. Vegetarians or carnivores will be thrilled.

I just visited for the first time, and I have to say, I got the recommendation from OpenTable, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was top-notch. I’m definitely planning to come back!

The food was scrumptious. The service friendly and helpful. The ambience was laid back in quiet back room area with only a couple tables. Highly recommend this restaurant.

So for the second time in two weeks we didn’t get our side orders (fries) until we were done with our dinners. Staff kept going back and asking but it never came. Very annoying to say the least.

Nice service but the food can be improved. Hummus was excellent as well as the salad. The Israeli salad wasn’t chopped small enough and could have had additional lemon and spices. The megashnitzel was nicely breaded but the chicken was dry and tasteless.

Always enjoy the food at Hummus Bar. The only disappointment were the ribeye kabobs. But everything else was delicious. Just remember that here is no chicken shawarma on Wednesday :(
