Delicious as always. Had a party of five and another group of 6 that I recommended Houston too and we all loved it. They said they wished DC had a restaurant this good.

Just had a fabulous dinner at Houston and White. The ambience, food and service were all excellent. For appetizers we had a wedge salad and a Caesar salad. The wedge salad was outstanding …. made with Bibb lettuce ; the Caesar salad serving portion was huge, it was nice to be offered fresh anchovies. For entrées, the short ribs were delicious, especially with some extra red wine sauce to dip the creamy mashed potato side in. The Del Monaco boneless ribeye was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. Oh yes, the little muffins and sweet butter deserve a call out as well. Our server Riley was terrific! We will definitely be back.

Andre greeted us as we entered the restaurant and was very kind and sat us at a beautiful table as soon as we came in. However, the place is a very small venue and there was a toddler making a lot of loud noises during a third of our time. The food was delicious. The ambience was quaint and coastal chic. The bartender came over just before dessert and had made us paper Mâché roses with fragrance and gave it to myself and my son’s girlfriend at the table. We were celebrating something very special and that made it even more special. The service and the food are five star. I did think for a small steakhouse in Rehoboth Beach Delaware on the off-season that the prices were very high, even higher than most like steakhouses of the same caliber.
