From scrambled eggs, at breakfast, to your lunchtime open sandwiches and roast dinner on Sundays, you can be confident that the food you buy from Horsley Lodge has been sourced locally from the best suppliers we know and trust – the head chef makes it his business to get to know the farmers.

So, whether it’s our meat, poultry, eggs, or fresh fruit and veg, we know where our food comes from, and who has grown or reared it.

Everyone is welcome to come to Horsley Lodge and dine in our Farmhouse Kitchen restaurant with amazing views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Or on warmer days enjoy lunch on our terrace as you watch the golfers tackle the 9th hole.

Our friendly, attentive team will help create a relaxing atmosphere and as a member-led restaurant our prices are highly competitive - please book your table in advance.

First class Sunday lunch we had beef and I would highly recommend it. Excellent staff and surroundings. We will return.

The food was nice enough but compared to other comparable places locally the price point was slightly higher so the food quantity or quality would have to be better to justify me rushing back it wasn’t. The service was good when we first got in but we had to wait at least 20 minutes until we had to ask for the dessert menu. Overall was alright, but just that-but as it’s just gone under a refresh I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for future return visits.

First impressions were great, lovely refit, quickly showed to our table and order taken, but soon went down hill. Food took a really long time to arrive, when it did, the pizza wasn’t the warmest , pie and mash was ok, but the smoked mash was very overpowering and lacked enough gravy making it a very dry meal, we were asked within minutes by two staff if all was ok, but that was the last time we saw any staff, despite two members of staff reorganising tables next to us, which could have waited until guests left, but no one cleared our plates, after no staff coming near us and waiting over 30 minutes we got up to leave and pay on our way out. A member of staff walked past, we asked where to pay, he offered to bring the bill to the table, on telling him we had waited 30 minutes and just wanted to pay. There was no offer of apology. On a final note the spotlights are far too bright no matter what direction we looked there was a blindingly bright spotlight pointed at us. It’s a shame as we’re very local but won’t visit again as it may be a nicer decor but the same inattentive staff and slow experience still exist from before the refit.

We haven't been here for quite a number of years but will definitely be back soon. Beautiful setting, quite restaurant and delicious food. Probably one of the best steak and ale pies I have had. My wife's sausage and mustard mash was also excellent. Great service provided by all staff. Can't wait to go again.

This was an excellent dining experience in a beautifully set resturant, the amazing wood fired pizza oven really produced some delicious original flavored pizzas , the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was very reasonably priced, all in all a great dining experience, well done !

Restaurant - busy and ambient with huge glass bi-folds overlooking the golf course. Food - hot, tasty & plentiful. The Sunday roasts are a very generous size with plenty of meat and green vegetables that still have a crisp to them, not overcooked and soggy. The size of the 4-people sharing platter is huge! A good few vegan options too. Staff - very friendly and very attentive. Value for money? Yes Would we return? Definitely

The refurbishment is lovely. We sat a a table next to the bifold doors, which, as it was unseasonably warm for March, was opened up. Beautiful views over part of the golf course and fields beyond. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The young staff were efficient and friendly. A very enjoyable Sunday lunch for 6 of us.

Sunday sharing platter was certainly an experience. Generous portions and taste how a Sunday lunch should be. Service excellent, it’s what HL has been missing. Well done to all the team and look forward to returning soon to sample some more of the new menu xx
