The food at Horatio’s is always excellent and today was no exception. We had the Fisherman’s Platter, Fish and Chips and the Salmon plate. All delicious. Creme Brulee for dessert was rich and creamy. The service was so so. The server was polite but not as attentive as we would have liked. When I made the reservation I specifically requested the main restaurant and not the bar area. When we arrived we were seated in the bar area. I didn’t say anything because the bar was not crowded and we were seated by a window. However, the music was very loud and my husband requested that the music be turned down or that we be seated in the main dining room. The music was turned down, for about 15 minutes, and then turned back up again. When we had finished eating we sat for quite a while with our dirty plates in front of us and no sign of our server. We’ve been enjoying Horatio's for decades and will return, but I hope the service will be better next time.

Everything was good and I love the box lunch. Wish they have more choices, ie fish.

I have been going to Horatio's, on and off, for over 40 years. Today's lunch was the worst ever. So much so, in fact, I'm tempted never to return. We ordered the calamari and it was very greasy. The taste was fine but it really needed some crunch. The lobster bisque had an off flavor and, literally, no lobster in the soup. The clam chowder was ok but not up to the standards I'm used to there. My wife had the fish tacos and said they were the worst she's ever had. She only ate one. We did take the other two home but neither of us has touched them yet. I imagine we'll end up throwing them away. They were flavorless and they'd have been better to use avocado slices instead of the "guacamole" they slathered on them. The presentation was nice but the taste was not there. I had the French Dip and it was fine. Nothing special. For a $100 lunch....and we didn't even have alcohol.......it was a severe disappointment. I'd rather try a new restaurant than go back there again. Sad.

Very good food. Good value, good service. Will be back. Loved the price fixe menu, three courses for $49.

We had a reservation ant 3pm and the restaurant was not full. However, it took over twenty minutes to seat us. No idea why. We came for the prime rib. Called ahead and were told it would be ready at 3:00 when dinner service began. It wasn’t. Once I ordered, I was told the prime rib was not ready. Fortunately, it was happy hour and once we had an appetizer (and waited an extra 25 minutes), I was able to get my prime rib. Food was good. Our server Kristin was fabulous, she made the whole experience enjoyable even with the issues with the kitchen. She is worth going back to the restaurant. Ambiance is good, water views beautiful.

we actually thoroughly enjoyed our food and thought it was quite tasty. Partner thought his meat was the best he ever had at your restaurant. I ordered my turf medium and it came more rare. Otherwise we had a lovely dinner.

This place is amazing. My fiancé and I were here once before but only for brunch. The brunch was delicious but when we experienced their dinner… OMG. It was amazing! Our server, Victoria, was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend! I had the seafood trio and he had the ribeye meal. Both were perfect. Their complimentary garlic bread is soooo good. I’m inspired to try and make it myself!
