Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field.

HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options.

We live the craft lifestyle - beer, cocktails and even craft food made from scratch. With a dedication to local breweries, sustainability and community engagement, HopCat offers craft beer and great food in a vibrant atmosphere for an inclusive, unforgettable experience.

We had a delicious dinner and Jenny was great! The Bali Bowl, Grilled Cheese was good...the apple slices could have been thinner. We will be back!

I made a reservation for 10 people @ 5:15. I was told we would not be seated together because they gave my area to other guest and they were just getting their food. My server told me she would be the best, but we only had the area for an 1 hour and 45 minutes because she had another big party coming in. Each one of our guest it took over 30 minutes to get a drink, the wings were dry and over cooked, but the killing part 2 of the 10 guest food was cold. Our server never came to check on our table one time during our dining experience. Needless to say I will not be going back due to the experience from being greeted to the food experience.

The food took over an hour to get, the waitress wasn't very attentive and the food portions were small for the money.

We were in just to have dinner on a Saturday night. Server was great. Food was well prepared. Beer was delicious. Hop Cat was as good as ever.
