Re: Jo Malone High Tea experience. After enjoying the Guerlain High Tea in August, I looked forward to this Jo Malone event. It was DISAPPOINTING! Parts of the sandwiches’ bread were soggy, while the edges were dry/stale. In short, NOT fresh, nor recently made. Scones were also not fresh. A very irksome expense.

As always a very interesting afternoon spent at the cafe. The Bavette Steak salad was perfect. As was the tea.

Holts Cafe has been my favorite goto for drinks, brunch, and afternoon tea. However, this experience disappointed. Food served was not fresh and garnished with wilted greens. The Jo Malone themed tea replaced the Classic tea for November and priced higher. However, the only Jo Malone connection was a single cologne sample! Won't be repeating.

My daughter and I enjoyed the High Tea very much. I would highly recommend the Holt’s Cafe Bloor to my family and friends to celebrate a special occasion.

decide to take 2 guests visiting from Switzerland and Germany for lunch yesterday. Worth noting that one of my guests has a michelin star husband unfortunately not here for this visit as he would have enjoyed. Food was very good and our server was amazing! I am happy that I made this choice!
