    I upgraded my sirloin to the dry aged ribeye for an extra $25. The quality of the steak I received was on a level below what I would expect at Texas Road House. If I had not been with several family members I would have sent it back. I did not want to spoil the mood but honestly this was so disappointing I will never go back. The Zuppa di Napoli was very good as were the sides that went with the fatty, somewhat chewy, steak. The server began clearing the table while one guest was still about 2/3 done. That should never happen at this level of dining. Again, maybe at an average restaurant, but not here. Total for four was $365, not including drinks or tip. I suggest Merrick Inn as an alternative for local Kentucky fine dining.

    The service was excellent & food delicious. We enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and was given a document on the history of the restaurant. We will come again & bring friends with us

    Really impressed with the NYE’s tasting menu. We will go back to experience ordering from the regular menu.

    Too much food. Probably didn’t need the 7 fishes (Part 1 &2) course. It was an entree in and of itself. I was very disappointed because I was full by the time we got to the final entree course of Prime Rib. Partly my fault because I didn’t study the menu well enough. This year was different from years in the past…with a 7 course straight through menu with no choices until the final entree course.

    We had a lovely evening as we celebrated an early Christmas dinner with family. Holly Hill Inn will definitely be a special occasion destination when we visit our daughter and son-in-law in Lexington.
