Highland Tap & Burger is a casual bar and restaurant with a wide selection of beverages, delicious burgers and other tasty appetizers and entrées. Located in the heart of LoHi (Lower Highland), on the outskirts of downtown Denver, it is popular with locals and new-comers alike.

The atmosphere at Highland Tap & Burger is comfortable and casual with a stylish, contemporary flair. Great food, we sampled several items - burger, pulled pork, salad with chicken. Then several beers from a huge selection. Food was excellent, service fantastic. Beers and drinks, everything great.

While open table allowed us to make a reservation, the restaurant was in fact closed. This left us without a plan.

The black and blue burger is a favorite but last night both my husband and I were disappointed. Seemed smaller and was bland and dry. The sweet potatoes fries were so salty they were inedible. Regular fries great. This coming from a salt lover.

Really great place in the highlands to drink a good beer and eat some good food while watching the game. Amazing service too!

It’s a fine place to get a burger and other bar foods/beer. Nothing outstanding though - pretty typical food and drinks. But with their new 20% service fee, the waitstaff basically ignore you the whole time. We barely got any service from our waiter. He saw him when he took our order, dropped off the food and gave us the bill. We sat there for quite a long time after we were done eating to even just get the bill. The ambiance is fine, like every others sports bar. But the volumes from all their TVs were way too loud. Like aggressively loud. You could barely hear the person next you talking. We had a kiddo with us so I wouldn’t return with them. Maybe with friends if we really had no where else to go and in the neighborhood but they weren’t that good that I’d be a regular.

Great place, the food was amazing! Service was great, it's really loud....if that's the vibe you're looking for, 5 stars, but a little rough to have a conversation.
