Lovely place, cosy, good atmosphere but sadly the roast dinner was a bit cold and the beef was a little bit chewy. Lovely staff and service and good choice of beers and drinks.

The food was well cooked - roast beef was lovely - but they were frozen roasties unfortunately. The veg was delicious and a good selection. One of us had the pie which was also good and another had chicken schnitzel which was also thoroughly enjoyed. It was busy, being a Sunday, and there was a bit of a wait for the puddings. Staff were friendly and the setting was warm and comfortable.

First visit, not only was the food excellent, but all the staff were very friendly and made you feel relaxed and so welcomed.

Lovely setting, pleasant staff but v overpriced for small portions. £14.95 for a tiny lasagne (which was no better than a microwave one) & an extra £2.95 for garlic bread, sad as we were having a lovely night & felt ripped off.
