We missed the menu and the ambience at the Pender Street location. We felt this restaurant the Mount Pleasant hipster audience.

A fun new place on Main Street! Like the concept … chairs at the bar, a few high tables along the side and regular tables by the windows. Comfy. The right lighting and sound level. The right place for popping out for a meal. Lovely food …. I had the Peking duck which was lovely. Great service. Worth a visit.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The food came out really slowly, a dish at a time with quite a long wait in between, even though the restaurant didn't look busy. I suppose that may have been the way they intended to allow more time to socialize, but we came in with a different expectation. The food was quite tasty though.

Cucumber salad, pea tips, eggplant, rice with shrimp, pork, Tequila Martinez, - all fabulous. The nicest waitstaff, everything hot, what a joy. Will be back.

For the soft opening, everything was pleasant. Reservation system may need work, couldnt book for 5 for a week, but our table of 3 fit into a completly empty restaurant for the first hour. Then was partially full by 7. Food was wonderful, and great flavors and blends. Service was attentative, but we were the only table at the time.
