As part of our quarterly Wine Series: A Night in Napa Valley HEIST Restaurant + Wine Club welcomes Steele Cooper of Merryvale Vineyards, owned by the singular Schlatter family for over 30 years. With European roots and California dreams, the Schlatters embody both the reverence for history and optimism for the future that characterize this beloved Napa Valley landmark. Together, we have curated a fantastic 5-course menu including wine pairings from Merryvale's estate. 5-Course Menu inspired by the vibrant farm-to-table movement of Napa Valley. We're bringing fresh, seasonal flavours to Ontario - even through the depths of winter. Menu cost includes wine pairings, but not taxes or gratuity. For this event space is very limited.

Our co-host, Merryvale Vineyards, will be sampling wines from their impressive estate. $9 for three tastings - additional tastings available for purchase. At this event, guests will have the opportunity to purchase individual bottles of Merryvale's wines; all of which are not available at the LCBO. Join us between 4pm-6pm for this exclusive opportunity to taste Merryvale's Estate Collection, including their Starmount Collection of wines.

A very nice restaurant with a variety of food choices and super friendly staff. Yes, a little pricey; however, the food was fabulous so as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for!" Definitely another visit when we visit Kingston again!

Was recommended to go to the Heist for the ambiance and delicious food. Was not disappointed a definitely must try for anyone in Kingston. The fried pork belly appetizer was amazing, would never have been my first pick but glad I took the servers recommendation.

Service and ambience very good. A little loud on the music level for an intimate dining area. All food very good except vegetables hard. We got complimentary tea to compensate. Manager and wait staff attentive to our needs and concerns. We will be back.

Heist never disappoints! Amazing food! Amazing service! The beef carpaccio and tuna appetizers are delicious. I had the pasta special (a leek creation) that was beyond spectacular. Steak is always on point. As is the wine menu. Classy restaurant. Tasty food! Perfect combo!

Service was excellent. Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Love the vibe of the restaurant. Just wish wine by the glass wasn’t so expensive and there were more chocolate desserts.

We were there for lunch. Food was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive too! Will definitely be returning next time we are in Kingston.

Excellent restaurant experience. We met half way between Toronto and Montreal in Kingston and our cousin from Kingston recommended Heist. It was an excellent choice! We all ordered the Hunter's Chicken. It was delicious and well prepared. The service was excellent and we had a nice table in a back room of the restaurant. Overall this was a top notch, excellent restaurant experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in Kingston, Ontario.

we had an amazing meal here on a Sunday night, but our service was terrible. It took over an hour and a half to get our mains on a Sunday night at 8:30. Our waitress was very absent minded and loved to chat but couldn’t remember our orders or the questions we asked her. Also took a while to give us our bill and let us pay at the end. I think it took about 10 minutes for her to “be right back” and get the debit machine. It seemed like she didn’t care about giving us the best service.

Pre-concert dinner at Heist, fortunately able to obtain counter seats at last minute. Server aware of our tight exit timeline and enabled timely arrival of appetizer followed by mains. Polenta fries were very tasty and are on our ‘do again’ list, as also are our mains, duck confit pizza and an amazing chicken parmigiana. Heist has never been less than an excellent evening out in our half-dozen or so visits.Heist gift cards have become one of our standard presents
