The Hazel Pear is a charming, traditional pub situated in the picturesque Cheshire village of Acton Bridge, just a short drive from Northwich. We pride ourselves on creating an experience that offers you a warm and inviting environment with a friendly team whose only aim is to make you feel at home. Here you can enjoy delicious food, a great selection of drinks and the warmest of welcomes. Well behaved dogs are even welcome in the bar area! Everything a real village pub should be. Went for a Sunday Roast at 6.30pm, on the “Roast and Drink” offer advertised on the website. Staff seemed unaware of the offer, but said they would sort it out on the final bill. We ordered one beer and one soft drink. Two of the roasts on the menu were unavailable ( Beef and Chicken) which was disappointing. The roasts we did have ( pork and turkey ) were excellent. We were however disappointed to be told at the end that they could not discount the soft drink, so we’re being charged full price for this. If this was the case, we should have been informed when we ordered the drinks. A great experience with the food let down by poor customer experience, a shame.

My friend and I went for the special two course menu. Food was delicious, very good value and we had 20% off bottle of wine as well. The staff were excellent, especially our waitress who I think was called Jessie. Staff were very accommodating and went that extra mile for my friend and I. I would definitely recommend and return again to this excellent pub.

Lovely pub, took my brother for his birthday treat and although we ( my husband and I) have been before, he was very impressed. Only flaw was the offer on the menu for 2courses for 17.50 wasn’t available, which was disappointing. Albeit, we had no complaints, food was lovely and service was second to none. Thanks to all involved x

Great service, I reserved a table as it was our first visit and we were treated very well, the food was delicious and piping hot, the value was really good and the pub itself was really nice, good parking, warm inside. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic Xmas Dinner pub was not busy probably because we had booked a late sitting but thought the staff would be a bit flat by then but nothing could be further from the truth they were buzzing full of energy and so nice thankyou guys

Great atmosphere for Christmas Eve, didn’t feel as though we needed to leave early which is so often the case. Good lighting for my partially sighted mum which helped put her at her ease. Everything about it was lovely.
