Welcome to Hazel – a celebration of creativity and community.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of Hazel, a dining, bar and event space due to open late November, nestled within the iconic Hazelhurst Arts Centre.

Hazel pays homage to the site’s Art Deco heritage and adds a contemporary twist to create a uniquely elegant atmosphere for your next event or dining experience. Whether it’s a casual drop-in or an extravagant celebration, Hazel celebrates the intimate moments as well as the revelry.

From the team who brought you Audley Dance Hall, we can’t wait to become part of Gymea’s vibrant community and open Hazel for everyone to enjoy.

The renovation looks great, the staff were helpful at times but the brunch menu was quite limited and the sizes were disappointing for the price.

Absolutely amazing the food is hands down most outstanding meal in the shire Owner present, serving and inspiring staff too!

even though we had a lovely time, both dishes with breads that we had tasted a little stale. the meals where tasty but not hot. they did not refill our water. the restaurant had the same great outlook. just being honest

Setting lovely, service businesslike, food cold - vol au vent and chips, friends cold also beef tartare and expensive for mainly chips $25. Could do better

Sorry guys, love the venue, love the ambience but the food was a let down. The pasta dish was bland. The steak and in particular the tomahawk pork was under cooked. The service was great. Please take this as constructive criticism. This place is special to me being a favourite of my dear departed dad. Underwhelming for the price. Please work on it as I want to return.

We went to dinner on a Sunday evening with our 7 year old and 4 year old. The staff were so attentive and made an off the menu ice cream dessert for the kids. Ambience was great, the garden and outdoor area was perfect for our kids to run around between meals. Sunday nights there is live music which adds to the vibe. Loved it!
