Celebrated my friend’s birthday with our party of 6. We enjoyed cocktails at the ground floor lounge before our reservation. Great atmosphere & cocktails, but service was slow. Upon checking in with the upper floor hostess for seating, she guided our party of 6 towards a table in the middle of the restaurant, so we requested to sit at one of the empty high top tables along the right side for a bit more privacy. Although there were 3 empty tables, she said that we could not sit there because we needed a reservation. I replied that we had made a reservation- we weren’t “walk-ins,” but she said that we had not reserved one of those particular tables. Although this didn’t make much sense, we sat down at the original table. We dined for over 2 hours with two of these long tables along the side of the restaurant remaining empty the entire time. I’m not sure why she refused to seat us there but it was a missed opportunity to accommodate our party’s special occassion. Having worked in hospitality and knowing the importance of customer service, I spoke to the hostess at the end of the evening to let her know that these tables remained empty and that, if she has a chance to seat a party at their preferred table, she should do so.

An Exceptional Dining Experience at Haywire Restaurant - I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haywire Restaurant for a business lunch with a client, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and promptly guided upstairs to our table, which was ready upon arrival (online reservations were made in advance). The seating was ideal—just off the main dining area—providing a comfortable and semi-private space that allowed us to engage in conversation without distraction. Our server, Arlene, delivered wonderful service along with great recommendations. She was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations that enhanced our experience. The food was equally impressive. I opted for the Texas Redfish, while my client enjoyed the Ribs—both dishes were generously portioned and perfectly prepared. To complete our meal, we indulged in the Whiskey Bread Pudding, a standout dessert that was so exceptional my guest humorously suggested we should have started with it. As we left the restaurant, my client summed up our experience perfectly: “That place was GREAT.” Haywire successfully delivers a dining experience with attentive service, a welcoming ambiance, and exceptional cuisine. This restaurant is an excellent choice.

Absolutely love this restaurant, but I was a little unhappy with the medium rare steaks ordered at the table, they all came out well to well done

It's a beautiful restaurant. The servers were all very nice. But the food was very basic. The ribs were burnt to a crisp, and the $60 Filet was overcooked. Whoever was cooking or expediting the food needs some training. And a manager never stopped bye to check on us to make sure everything was perfect. Save your money and goto Salt Grass [cheaper, food is better, and the managers stop bye to check on you].

Food was great,service was great,ambience was great.There was a group sitting behind us that were super loud that we had trouble hearing our waitress but it got nice after they left.Overall,good first impression.Will be back for sure.

Congrats to the chef for designing a unique Texas flavor to your menu. Our first time here was a pleasure. Seafood cooked perfectly and the outstanding roasted garlic infused filet was accompanied with excellent sides. We finished with bread pudding a la mode which was enough for a table of four. Next time we will stop off at the enormous bar for a taste and we will return often with pleasure.

The food was decent I have had some better seared steaks and sides with great flavor. The Brussels sprouts were a tad too salty but my friend enjoyed them. The cheeseburger unfortunately was not cooked to our order. The burger came out with a pink center when asked for a well done. The staff did correct the order but then we had to wait for the new food to come out which make our other dish cold as we were waiting.
