Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Parties of 8 guests and above are required to dine from one of our delicious Group Sharing Menus. We have 3 options available - Moonlighter, Silvertail or Hawkabelle. These include some of our most popular dishes paired with our classic sides and sauces, served as a feast to share. Please select one menu option for the entire group. Your guests will then receive all the dishes on that menu to share. Each menu is available as a 2 or 3 course option. The team will get in touch with you once your booking has been made to find out any dietary requirements or requests.

Beautiful dinner at Hawksmoor in Carary Wharf. The location is stunning in the middle of canals on a (large) boat. Beautiful setting, great service. We went to have a Chateaubriand for three people which was stunning. Good selection of wines too. Overall of course not the cheapest option but well worth the money and once again top class service. Recommended.

It was a Sunday evening and a lot of items on the menu are not available. The presentation of steaks were poor and it generally was not good value for money.

The table location was lovely. However I had made the table request on reservation 6weeks before. When we arrived was taken to a table in a dark corner and said to the waiter I was disappointed at the this as it was my daughter’s 21st birthday and had made a request online and reiterated upon arrival at reception. After a few minutes we were moved to the window over the water without fuss. Please honour a reservation request especially when made well in advance. The meal and service were fabulous thank you. Our daughter enjoyed her celebration meal.

Dined with 3 others, all who throughly enjoyed their food. I enjoyed my too, but I chose the Sunday roast which wasn’t very hot when served , also the roast potatoes were more boiled than roast. Maybe because it was Mother’s Day and very busy, but I’d heard good reports of the Sunday roast , but it wasn’t to my liking.

Very friendly staff accommodating our group turning up at different times. Fabulous food and able to cater for ‘off menu’ selections. Lovely touch with the birthday dessert! Good length of sitting for a relaxed celebratory Birthday and Mother’s Day lunch. Ps…. Our dog loves the doggie box!!!! Thank you!

Great location in Canary Wharf. Food at Hawksmoor never disappoints, Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection and the wine list varied to choose an amazing red to enjoy with the steak. Service was excellent as always, keep up the great work Hawksmoor

In comparison with the other Hawksmoor restaurants the ambience just wasn’t there. The food and service was 1st class as usual.
