Welcome to Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where celebrated Chef Brian Malarkey and his brother James bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend. Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors.

Our menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we utilize every part of the animal, delivering high-quality steaks and inventive dishes at friendly prices. Favorites include our Happy Hour Texas Toast Smash Burger, Whole Snapper and Beef Tongue Tostadas, all to be enjoyed alongside cocktails, mocktails local beers, and PNW wines.

The fixed menu portions for New Year’s Eve were very small and they were cold as well. Drinks were strong and good, service was good when we moved from a table to the bar but service was bad at the table so we moved to the bar. Price was too high for the portion sizes for sure but the ambience and music made up for it.

The dinner was terrible...definitely not worth what we paid. The steak was the only good thing we ate all night. Service was great and ambiance was fun.

The food was fabulous but a bit pricey at $111/plate. The service…impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful night! We’ll be back!

Amazing service! We were running late with a large party and they were still able to Accommodate us. Great vibe and atmosphere!

Disappointed with the food. This is the 3 time we have visited your restaurant, and the food was not as good. It took a very long time to be seated. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, we were seated after 8pm. It took awhile to order. We didn’t receive our main dishes until after 9pm. The restaurant was half full by the time we received our entrees. Big disappointment was the fries. They were cold and the didn’t appear to be handmade. It mentions that the fries are cooked in beef fat and we didn’t feel that was the case. The steak was tough but it had nice flavor. Drinks were great. The bartender was excellent as well. My husband and I work in the industry in NYC. We definitely noticed a change since when you opened your doors last year.

Food was decent with good variety for various tastes. Dinner meals came out one at a time which impacted the service rating. Parking is very difficult.

The best experience! Amazing food and drinks, and the service is amazing as well. We had a gift certificate that was unfortunately stolen when our car got broken into, they were able to look it up for us and were so accommodating. We will definitely be back!
