Harvester Kitchen is a contemporary restaurant with a focus on the time-honored belief of warm, welcoming hospitality. Chef-owned, operated, and focused on innovative American cooking based on classic old-world techniques. Harvester Kitchen by Bryan is located in downtown Sioux Falls (DTSF) on 6th Street, near Phillips Avenue, with sunset views of the iconic Old Courthouse clock tower. The windowed loft-style space is in the historic Harvester Building. The restaurant is a scenic 1/2-mile walk from the impressive Falls Park and the waterfalls of the Big Sioux River. And is a few steps away from the Arc of Dreams, the centerpiece landmark sculpture of the DTSF sculpture walk, spanning the Big Sioux River.

We offer the possibility of exclusive use for dinner for larger parties, HK’s dining room will seat up to 74 guests. For smaller groups, we offer a dining table of 10. The semi-private Dining Room seats up to 16 and the room can become more private by closing the drapes from main dining area . The Den and Patio are ideal for reception prior.

This was our first visit to HK, and we will definitely be back. From the moment we walked in, everything was so lovely. The sitting room for drinks, canapés and our photo was such a nice touch to start our evening. From there, we got to sit quickly and everyone was so attentive to us. From the drinks to silverware to meal, each was better than the last. We loved all the little touches from them. The food was divine. My steak was amazing.

Amazing staff all around. We had a great time. We both got the HK signature menu with the truffle and caviar additions and we both thought the price was well worth the food, the vibe, the experience. The torchon was my favorite out of the courses. My partner’s favorite was the mussels. Will go back.

The menu here is unique in several ways. First, it is now set up as tasting menu only. No more single choice selections like most places (i.e. appetizers, entrees, desserts, etc). Instead, you choose from one of three tasting menus (see the website if unclear what I mean). While this makes it a very unique experience it also makes it rather pricey especially if you get the accompanying wine pairings. I give them 5 stars on everything except Value because of the cost factor. But if you are prepared for that and to spend some time, there is no other dining experience in Sioux Falls that comes even close to this place. You will experience dishes here that you will not find anywhere else in Sioux Falls. Be open-minded everything is incredibly delicious. The wine pairings are outstanding and well selected. The staff is super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. My wife and I recently had the "Signature Menu" and the food was incredible, innovative and beautifully presented. Absolutely, some of best dishes we have every experienced. She is gluten-free, and they make a superb effort to accommodate. Another thing to note is the little extras they do, a fun bubble bar selection and little take home treat bags. They put an amazing amount of thought into everything. If you get a chance to meet Chef Bryan, you are in luck. He is a great chef and all-around great person. If you consider yourself a "Foodie" or "Wanna-Be" Harvester is a must.

I recently celebrated my birthday with a date night at Harvester Kitchen, and it was an amazing experience! From start to finish, the staff made us feel so special and were incredibly attentive. As always, the food was INCREDIBLE—each dish was crafted to perfection, and the wine pairings were spot on. Every visit to Harvester Kitchen is consistently wonderful, but I especially loved the thoughtful birthday touch of a balloon and delicious brownies to take home. It made the evening even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday dinner so special. I can’t wait for our next visit!

This was my second time doing the Taste Kitchen Tuesday! It is an amazing experience to taste so many divine dishes and wine pairings! I love getting to be in the kitchen as a small group to watch the preparation, playing and to ask questions to chef Bryan. I’m thankful to have such a high level of a food experience in our city! If you are a foodie it’s a must!
