We may have been the only guest in the lodge and were definitely the only diners at Harvest. There was another time we came midweek in the winter and had a similar experience. As a result, the bartender in the lounge became our waiter, and there was no maitre de. So, things were slow, but we were in no hurry. It would have been an issue if we had to leave and drive down the mountain. The food was great, and the staff was very accommodating.

Our server was lovely, attentive, and very knowledgeable about Dirty Dancing facts! We brought of of town guests to hike Bald Knob, see the facility and grounds, and enjoy dinner. They loved it!

Wonderful way to enjoy New Year's Eve! Mountain Lake Hotel is absolutely beautiful during Christmas and New Year. The outdoor Christmas lights gives the mountain a magical feel. I recommend to others!

We went to Harvest for lunch and we all ordered burgers. I had the Bald Knob Bison Burger and it was really good - it was the best burger I've had in quite some time. My sons also ordered the brownie a la mode and that was not good - the brownies were rock hard (definitely not fresh).

Beautiful evening at a special place. It’s always pretty on that mountain. It was especially beautiful with the Christmas decorations. Definitely worth the time and money to go there.

According to the website you can order breakfast from the menu, so we were surprised when we got there for breakfast to find that it was buffet style.
