My wife and I enjoyed a delightful meal at Haru Omakase on February 15. We'd recently had a sushi omakase in Santa Barbara, prepared by a Michelin starred chef and his team. Haru Omakase compared very favorably to that meal, at under 30% of the price. Service was polite and informative. The food came out in "tours" -- I'll call them waves. A soup wave, then three waves of 3 pieces of sushi each, and then a dessert wave. Very nice. I'd gladly come back, and next time will try some of the add-ons to the basic meal.

This was a great experience, specifically for my husband. I was along for the ride. We loved the counter seating and enjoyed being up close and personal with the chef. If you like sushi and fresh fish, this is for you. That said, our bill, including tip was $400. This included 2 cocktails and 1 beer. We also did the Premium tour, which included an extra course. Did we enjoy it? Absolutely! We would recommend this for sushi lovers, but definitely book the counter seats and expect a very large bill.

Our visit at Haru is one of the best dining experience we’ve had, Chef created a great menu and service was amazing.

Fantastic new omekase place! Each piece had a unique blend of flavors, and all the pieces worked together in each course. The ingredients are clearly the highest quality and the menu has been designed with care. We also really enjoyed our drinks, especially my sake gimlet, which I had never had before. Menu will rotate every 6 weeks, and we will be back!

Excellent time at Haru! Best sushi in Columbus. Truly a treasure. Fish was very fresh, with classic options and some creative options as well. Service was excellent. Sake pairing was very good. It was great to sit at the chef's counter and to interact with the chefs. Shout out to the king salmon and wagyu pieces! Those were amazing.

SET PRICE AND MENU, with a few add-ons. This was not apparent when I booked. But it was a special occasion with my wife and worthwhile for the experience. Service was great, concept is unique and fun, and the food was delicious.

Columbus was missing a true Omakase experience and Chef Yuri did not disappoint! Delicious, fresh and worth every penny.
