    Highly recommend! We’re staying at a different resort but wanted to try somewhere else. Halani exceeded our expectations. The ambiance felt like a true Hawaiian experience. If you drive there you receive free valet parking for first 3 hours.

    Our party of 3 was having a friendly conversation at Sunday brunch until the speaker volume of the musician was increased. His music was initially enjoying, but then the speaker volume was increased and became so loud we couldn’t have a conversation, and the waitress couldn’t hear us. Suggest you decide on the ambience and music volume you want for brunch at the HaLani and be consistent. Then we can determine if we want to dine there on a regular basis.

    The new menu is terrible. Luckily we got order off the bar menu. Who decided this beautiful Hawaiian hotel and restaurant needs a Middle Eastern menu. We couldn't find anything to order!!

    We had ahi steaks as our entree-- they were melt in your mouth tender and flavorful. Appetizers were also delicious. I think that the Mediterranean menu is a refreshing addition to the food choices for this island. We will be back. The atmosphere is surprisingly quiet for a resort, which makes it easy to have a normal conversation.

    Three of six meals were average at best. Daughter treated me to a birthday dinner. Half of us finished our meals before the other half was served. I had the ahi, it was very good, while my daughter who ordered the same watched us eat. One would think a chef could prepare the fish at the same time? Chicken dish was overcooked and was a bowl of chicken, nothing else. The pasta dish was pasta with tomato sauce. My daughter's dessert was not what she ordered. The waitress visited seldom and was very apologetic about how the evening progressed. I was shocked at how bad the meal was. To the restaurant's credit they did discount the bill, but the evening was a real disappointment.

    From the hostess to the wait staff every person there provided us with exceptional service. Our waiter Randall was excellent. He gave great recommendations and we were given more than enough time to enjoy a relaxing dinner.

    Incredible atmosphere with amazing service and food. Beautiful setting and soft music. Definitely a favorite “Date Night” place to go. It’s also family friendly.

    Not only the restaurant and its staff but also the customers are superb. They are calm, polite and most importantly happy.
