Delicious food and very cool ambiance. We found that the fish was really the star of the show here, so definitely keep that your focus when dining. My friend and I really enjoyed it for a fun girls night out!

The food is fabulous. Let me repeat, the food is fabulous and the service was fantastic. Don’t be put off by the unusual setting. Do not turn around in the lobby. Continue to the restaurant. You will be so glad you did! Can’t wait to go back.

One of my favorite meals I've ever gone out for. Wish we lived closer, to come more often. Amazing creative food and cocktails and charm. Cozy eclectic and understated beautiful ambiance with a quiet retro desert vibe. A true hidden gem that feels an honor to experience. This is a very special and intimate place that serves art from the heart. Can't beat the quality and attention detail of all the dishes.

Food Threads We had an excellent meal tonight at James Beard award winner Nobuo Fukuda’s one year old Hai Noon, a Japanese-Western fusion venue incongruously located in the somewhat shabby mid-century Papago motel in Scottsdale. All the dishes are tapas-sized, shareable if that’s your thing - we ordered eight dishes and mostly stuck each to our own, just sharing tastes. The standouts were the coconut curry marinated lamb chops and the chicken pandan, but every dish was very good.

Located in an unassuming retro hotel with a cool vibe. Very pleasant and attentive service team who seem to really enjoy the work and really like the food coming out of the kitchen. Really well executed and delicious dishes. Lookin forward to returning soon for brunch….and to have a couple cocktails(or saki) at the quant bar.

Being able to once again enjoy the brilliance of James Beard-winning chef Nobuo Fukuda is such a joy and a privilege! Don't expect any run-of-the-mill sushi...you're going to experience new spices you've never had, super-fresh locally-sourced vegetables and meats, and a range of sensory experiences that will inspire your whole day. Go, go, go!

Delicious meal, unique setting and excellent service. We tried a few sakes, tasted about 6 or 7 food items and had a fantastic time. Our favs were the ceviche, soft shell crab w/noodles, pork belly w/rice and squash blossom special but, really, everything was yummy. It’s a limited menu of smaller shareable plates. The restaurant is casual and located in a charming small motor lodge which just added to the special feel of the evening. The wait staff was attentive and, Arizona, the host/server was delightful and extremely helpful. We look forward to coming again…as well as getting on the waitlist for the chef’s tasting menu. Highly recommend .

We had dinner at Hai Noon last night, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance immediately sets the tone with its modern, laid-back vibe. The menu offered a great variety of options, and the flavors were on point. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and our server was knowledgeable about the dishes, offering excellent recommendations. The food itself was fresh, beautifully presented, and each dish had a unique and bold flavor that made it stand out. The portion sizes were just right, and everything came out at a good pace. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of great food and a relaxed atmosphere.
