Gusto (pronounced Goo-sto) means tasty in Italian. Located in Toronto’s Corktown neighbourhood, Gusto 501 brings together the innovation of sister restaurant Gusto 101 and the soulful hospitality of Janet Zuccarini’s first restaurant, Trattoria Nervosa. Since opening our doors in 2020, Gusto 501 has been serving fresh takes on Italian fare in Toronto’s east end. Designed by award-winning architecture firm PARTISANS, Gusto 501’s space is punctuated by glowing terracotta walls and an oversized “garage door” façade that opens up to reveal a multi-level dining theatre.

Every level of Gusto 501 unfolds into a unique experience. Whatever you're craving, there's always a seat at the table for you - our famiglia.

    Excellent service, amazing pizza, food and drinks. Main plates a little small for price, but delicious and perfectly made, seasoned and presented! Great ambiance!

    We love Gusto 101, so we thought we would go to Gusto 501 to give it a try. The restaurant is unique with its multi levels which my wife and I loved. The food was excellent and our server, Alex made excellent recommendations. We are definitely going back.

    Every staff is friendly, making good connections with us. I never tipped more than 15%. It's my first time willing to do this! I would definitely come back!

    I didn't realize the dining areas were all vertical. Lots of stairs. Great food!

    Amazing experience. Lasagna was outstanding. Little pricey but worth it. Nice ambience. Definitely will be back.

    Chic place and it’s easy to come here too. I booked the lunch winterlicious but availed of the dinner instead. Food was good! I truly enjoyed the carpaccio although I believed I booked this place because I wanted to try their arancini but it’s not offered in the dinner winterlicious menu. The orecchiette is ok.

    Excellent value with the Winterlicious menu, but couldn’t leave before getting a pepperoni pizza (one of the best in the city).
