Wonderful!! Please don’t forget the experience of pouring Chai from high pot - this just adds to the charm. This wasn’t done this visit. Also, sauces for samosas should be brought to the table as a given. I think it is Tamarind sauce?? Kinda sweet. This had to be asked for. Our server was very good. Food excellent as usual. Lovely meal.

We have always loved Guru but hadn’t been for some time so we decided to go for a 3some birthday dinner. Everything went fine until we got our food. We had ordered garlic naan and there was some confusion about us having ordered a basket with a 3 different kinds which we didn’t—it would have been way too much. The waiter said there was a piece of garlic naan in it but there wasn’t any! We all had a small piece had one small piece of plain and left the rest—a real waste. This may sound picky but the other 3 dishes we ordered only had a slight variation between them, and the coconut rice we ordered had no coconut in it. All this cost us over $160.00!! (with 2 glasses of wine included.)

Great, authentic food. Dreadful service. Barely acknowledged my wife when she was ordering, ignored her drinks orders, almost like women don’t exist. Poor show. Don’t plan anything after your reservation - you’ll miss I whatever it is!

My group of friends asnd I had an amazing lunch. The food was excellent - so flavourful. We shared a number of dishes. The Vishnal's poutine, the Cauliflower 65, the Fish Moilee, the Mango chicken, the coconut shrimp, the naan and the coconut rice were our favourites. We'll be back to try the other dishes.

First time at Guru, went based on strong recommendations from friends. We were very pleased! Food was excellent, served nice and hot, good presentation and very tasty! Our server was professional and friendly, attentive and discreet. The restaurant itself is well appointed, tastefully decorated, nice ambience, clean washrooms, etc. this will now be our “go to” place for Indian food (eat in or takeout). 😊

As we were seated right beside the bar and the blender was going continuously it was difficult to have conversations. The portions of meat in the mango chicken , coconut shrimp and the mango paneer was extremely small. Delicious but for the price???

We dined at the West end location. The ambience and decor were quite elegant and the service was super friendly. All of the dishes were superb, from the cauliflower starts to the lamb vindaloo and mango chicken complemented very well by the saffron rice and papadum, and the very well crafted spiced old fashioned and the pinot noir. Very enjoyable - we’ll be back!

Overall we found that the food was not as flavourful as it is at other restaurants. It was good, but lacked the spice and flavour we’re usually looking for.
