   Great Easter Brunch! Gorgeous view! Excellent staff! I randomly saw Gulfstream Cafe recommended on a social media post and decided to make a reservation weeks ahead. I'm so glad I did!

   We had such a great dinner experience at Gulfstream last night. We were seated within 10 minutes at an outdoor table overlooking the marsh and watched the gorgeous sunset. While it was a busy night there, our server, Matthew, was friendly and attentive. He even asked us if we wanted to move inside later when it got cold before our dinner was served. We happily took him up on that! My strawberry mint mojito was refreshing before dinner; our party of four had the tuna tartare appetizer, along with the candied bacon. Both were enjoyed, however we agreed the bacon wasn’t quite what we expected. I think it would be nicer cut into pieces rather than in one long piece. Three of us ordered the grouper française, and it was spectacular. It was cooked perfectly, came out hot, and really was priced well at $28 for a nice serving size. It is difficult to find grouper prepared that well in our area at that price point. We would all highly recommend it. My husband also loved his entree, the cioppino dish, with mussels, shrimp and other items in a tomato based broth with some grilled bread. We left truly satisfied and impressed with the hospitality and food that was cooked with love and care. Kudos to the chef, as well as the manager, Jason, who took time to speak with us. He genuinely cares about each and every guest and wants everyone to have a special feeling when they leave Gulfstream Cafe. If you haven’t been yet, it really is worth checking out.

   Our reservation was at 6 pm. We were seated right away but no server came to our table. We asked the bartender and also the host because we had no one come to the table. The bartender brought us our first drinks and took our order. One hour and 45 minutes later our food arrived. It was okay. We had to ask the manager for our bill because we still had no server. He didn’t even ask about our experience. We went through CFA drive through on the way home. The view is beautiful, but no one in the building cared about our lack of service. Save your money. Don’t go there.

   First visit to Gulfstream. The location on the marina and marsh views are fantastic. Our only complaint was that food items, like eggs, yogurt parfaits, salad, etc were totally empty and took 10 minutes to be refilled. Everything we ate was very tasty and high quality. Compliments to the chef and owners. We’ll come back and try dinner off the menu.

   The price for what was offered was very fair. They seemed to have a bit of a problem keeping the buffet stocked but that's an issue everywhere these days. Our server was great and I'd go again.

   Outstanding dining experience Food was great … our server was attentive and friendly… great bottle of wine… great view. Highly recommend!
