Guhng The Palace is a chic Korean Charcoal BBQ restaurant in the Melbourne CBD that specialises in the delicious flavours of charcoal barbecue. With a modern dining space and atmospheric interior on McKillip Street, this Melbourne eatery first opened in 2010 and has proven a city favourite ever since. Top-quality ingredients is what makes Guhng’s food so tasty and we’re a particular fan of their barbecue meat selection – Wagyu cube roll, Angus rip fillet, sweet soy sauce Black Angus beef ribs and spicy pork belly. Fresh seafood and vegetables are also on offer for charcoal grilling, as are a tempting range of tapas, noodles, salads and rice dishes. A leading Asian restaurant in the Melbourne CBD, Guhng The Palace is well worth a visit.

My recent visit to this Korean BBQ restaurant was truly exceptional. 😍❣️ With its impressive four floors, this restaurant has firmly established itself as a top-tier venue for those seeking an authentic and delightful culinary adventure. The food offerings were also remarkable, featuring a diverse selection of premium meats. Wagyu cube, in particular, stood out as a highlight and is a definite must-try. The quality of the meat is dope, and each dish is expertly prepared with great attention to detail. I CAN TELL. Beyond the culinary delights, the restaurant excelled in creating a welcoming ambiance. The commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every detail. During my visit, I observed the staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable experience for special occasions, such as birthdays. In summary, this Korean BBQ restaurant surpassed my expectations on every aspect – from its spacious and inviting setting to the exquisite cuisine. Most notably, the impeccable service provided by the staff truly elevated the overall experience. MEAT 🥩 — Wagyu cube roll: Exceptionally juicy. — Ox tongue: Delightfully chewy. — Pork belly: Both plain and spicy variations are satisfying. To elaborate, the plain version is notably thicker than the spicy option. 2. TAPAS 🌮 — Agedashi tofu: Best enjoyed immediately upon serving. 3. SHARE DISH 🍛 — Korean fried chicken — Ttoekbokki: Consider adding cheese as an additional, albeit unlisted, option. 4. STEW 🍲 — EVERYTHING: it comes with one rice 5. value for money, 1/5, unattentive service and expensive food compared with same quality with other restaurant. place is quite old and not comfortable in rainy weather, too hot inside.
