Steaks and chicken were amazing. Vegetable side dishes should have further description of what is in them- as we were surprised by some ingredients. We have no allergies tho- so didn’t ask for specifics. Service was a tat slow, and we were not asked if we wanted anything more after plates were cleared- so no pudding or coffee for us- no upsell for them. But it was only week 2 or 3

Excellent food and came nice and fast, lots of good steak options and cooked perfectly. Both of us had the ribeye, and the peppercorn sauce was the best I’ve ever had.

Had a very lovely lunch with friends yesterday and we were all very impressed with everything ! The food was stunning, best steaks in Ely by miles ! Loved the Stilton cauliflower cheese - nicking that idea ! Staff were great , the owner very visible and chatty too.. lots of upstairs seating too which was a surprise so will make a lovely place for an evening meal- very intimate , quaint atmosphere . A breath of fresh air for Ely and can’t wait to return .

Fantastic food with great service. Some items not available on the menu (good for the Griddle Bar if sold out). We went in midweek for an early dinner. Food came out hot and with a smile. Only small gripe would be the choice of wine - they only have one of each (white, rose & red) and although drinkable would have like variety to choose from. Will 100% return......

Very delicious! Will absolutely go again! Wish they’d publish more on social media plus menus with prices as everyone’s asking about it. Cant wait to go back!

Great to have this new option in Ely. Pleasant vibe, compact & bijou. Great meat, nicely cooked and presented. Adequate range of sides and drinks (the IPA is best). Staff engaging. Looking forward to dining again and trying a breakfast!

The service was excellent and both my wife and I really enjoyed the food. My steak and marrowbone pie was just delicious.

What a great addition to the Ely food scene. Fabulous tasty melt in the mouth steaks, smooth truffle mash , crunchy chips and cocktails... fab evening. Thank you

This was the first day and as you would expect there were a few teething issues but overall they did a good job and the staff were very helpful. The meal was good quality and value for menu and this will be a welcome addition to the Ely dining scene so I hope they continue to flourish and will definite visit again.
