Founded in 2017 by owner/operator Brandon Smith, a Washington Crossing native, who has been involved with Bucks County restaurants for over 20 years. Grey Stone, the hidden gem of Newtown, offers elevated American comfort food in a vibrant, upscale casual atmosphere - just 3 minutes from the Borough! We beautifully refurbished the property formerly known as Lavendar Hall, continuing the prestige from years' past as a staple of the Bucks County fine dining scene. The restaurant features a food menu, by talented Chef Robert McNally, that changes by season to utilize the freshest of local ingredients. The Food was platted beautiful and it Tasted wonderful. Our sever went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The room was romantic atmosphere and with all that we had from the Starters to the Dessert the price was very reasonable.

The brunch menu is limited but interesting. The food was excellent and the service attentive. However the noise level makes conversation difficult.

First time here for dinner with friends. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Old stone building and lit patio were breathtaking. Seems like a great bridal shower or birthday party venue too. Highly recommend.

A lot of better choices in Newtown. The hearth room is beautiful; the main dining room looks like a cafeteria. Food was ok.

We are always so pleased with our dinners at Grey Stone. And this time was no exception. Our main courses - the cheesesteak and cacio e pepe were both delicious. I want to put in a special compliment for our server Kristina - wonderful all around! Very attentive, friendly and nice. She is a gem.

Fantastic food. Varied menu. But way overpriced for what it is. To make it worse, they add a 3% fee for paying with a credit card instead of just factoring it into their already exaggerated prices. Loved the meal, but it wasn’t close to what it cost.

The restaurant is is a classic Bucks County stone house on a beautiful location. The food was creative and delicious, the same going for the cocktails and long beer list. Service was great with the entire staff checking if we needed anything. Highly recommend for great cuisine, service and location.

Had the octopus which is our go to however, it was extremely overcooked and very fishy. Had 2 little slices of sausage and a handful of beans. Normally it’s an amazing dish but this time it was not. The duck pot pie was outstanding as was the rest of the food.
