Greta Solomon's, named after the owner Darlene’s late mother & grandfather is an intimate 26 seat French restaurant located in the heart of Leslieville, Toronto.
Our food menu is inspired by French Cuisine.
All of our dishes are made in house with the freshest ingredients procured from purveyors that are local, family run, Canadian, award winners.
At Greta Solomon’s, our guests feel that they have slipped away to a more leisurely pace, to enjoy our food, our drinks, our atmosphere and our company. You may feel that you have just discovered that little gem of a restaurant that all the locals know about in Paris. We will take you there without having to travel so far.

Super cozy and inviting, especially on a cold winter evening. The steak was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Already itching to return so I can try the risotto!

We really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The room is small, intimate and nicely decorated. We had the steak tartare, caesar salad and the steak frit. The 1/2 bottle red wine special was delicious. The tartare was by far my favourite dish.

A warm and wonderful French dining experience that left us extremely satisfied. The room is cozy and inviting with impeccable decor. Service is quick and considerate. One member of our party was celiac and they made sure to take all of the appropriate accommodations without issue. The food was excellent - classic French dishes done right. The Thursday steak frites special is great value but you can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. We had an excellent experience and can’t wait to go again!

Greta Solomun's never disappoints! We had their Thursday Steak & Frites special for $35 with their house red, which was spectacular! Getting this quality for this price is, well, priceless!

Went for the steak frites special and we were not disappointed. The steak was a perfect medium rare. Will definitely be back.

A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. How lucky are we to have this incredible restaurant right in our neighbourhood. Every morsel was stellar but the celeriac purée was life-changing. Can’t wait to go back!

One of my favorite spots in the east end ! The food never disappoints, but more than that - the staff and vibes keep me coming back. Thumbs way up for Gretas!
