   We are local to greendale and often walk up to it to get take away drinks. Unfortunately we made the mistake of booking when they had a cars and cuppas Sunday and it was a nightmare. I totally appreciate that it’s really great business for the shop to run these events but I don’t think the way it’s run currently is viable. There is not enough staff or basic equipment available to manage the volume of people attending. We had to wait 30 mins for even a jug of water to be brought to the table, by the time we were given our hot drinks it had been 40 mins after seating and one was wrong and one forgotten. Then our food was sent to the wrong table, and when it was located and brought to us again another meal was missing. We had friends visiting and we felt so embarrassed that the farm shop we raved about ended up being such a poor experience. A real disappointment and has made us rethink about eating there again.

   Great food as always but as we were in the corner we were forgotten about and had to ask to have out order taken But great service after that xxx

   The standard of food appears to have deteriorated over the last few months. Also, the service is slower and plates not removed etc.

   Lovely staff. Table ready. Good timely response for ordering. Accomodating with dietary requests. Fantastic fish and chips. Thank you.

   One really expects to pop into a farm shop and find a table to eat or coffee whilst shopping, but Greendale is so popular, one really needs to book. lovely local produce, nicely cooked and presented

   Overall very positive feedback, it would be nice if there was a children’s menu. Just one little point too, could you put the calories on the menu? I realise this is quite a subjective preference but most cafes/restaurants do this. But I do understand there will be many people who DON’T want this 😁

    Restaurant very busy but good service and food arrived within a reasonable time. Always best to book a table in advance. Food was good.
