In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

    Love this place. Although not the table waiting person, but another person rolled her eyes when I asked for salad dressing when there were two dining both with salad and I asked for a second dressing, only to face a rolling of the eyes from the server! (Blond hair tied back low ponytail)

    Always excellent food and waiting staff very pleasant as was front of house (on this occasion). My friend mentioned her allergies and the waiter was keen to point out the extensive range available….

    Good selection of food. Unfortunately today ours was very poorly presented, and was cold Maybe it was just on off day

    Ordered the omelette, please don’t bother looked like slop on a plate, nothing else added. Asked for a salad to go with it which they were going to charge me £3.25 for!!! The omelette was awful had ham and cheese, ham had a very tangy nasty taste couldn’t eat it sent it back. Ordered a tuna melt which took about 40 mins to arrive, still had my salad with nothing to eat it with. Tuna melt came with crisps salad coleslaw and crisps so my salad was wasted .

    Overall enjoyed our meal and the waitress/waiter service was good - however the meet/greet lady on the day could not be described as ‘welcoming or helpful’ sadly.
