Located in downtown Sacramento, America's Farm to Fork Capital, Grange is a culinary expression of all things local, reflecting the authentic essence and soul of the community.

The menu showcases the market-driven bounties from the state and is best described as simple, seasonal and soulful. Organically raised meats and poultry are complemented with the freshest produce available from the Central Valley, while sustainable coastal seafood is paired with a spectacular all-California wine list. The entrees are presented in a straightforward American brasserie style. Lastly, enjoy the creations from our pastry chef such as rustic artisan breads and desserts.

We dined here for dinner the evening after Valentine's Day, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My husband had the Valentine's prix fixe menu, which was delicious and quite a good deal. I ordered an appetizer and main dish a la carte. We both ordered from the dessert menu. Our server Alek made suggestions for all of my courses, as well as our desserts and our drinks, and his recommendations were absolutely spot on. The ambiance and food were delightful, but Alek and the rest of the waitstaff especially made our meal enjoyable!

Absolutely next level service! The food was fantastic. We had the Valentine’s Day four course menu. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

Overall, excellent. Service, ambiance were outstanding. Portions are fine except NY steak small for the price (value).

Tim was a fabulous server! But every staff member we encountered was professional yet friendly! Pork Belly and NY steak were both outstanding.

From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is a perfect mix of elegant and inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel that complements the historic charm of the hotel. One of the highlights of our visit was being seated in the Chef’s Kitchen, a unique and immersive experience that gave us a front-row seat to the artistry happening behind the scenes. Watching the chefs meticulously craft each dish added an extra layer of appreciation to the meal. Now, let’s talk about the food—the French toast was simply incredible. Thick, fluffy, and perfectly golden, it was topped with fresh seasonal fruit and just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite was a perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, custard-like goodness. Whether you’re a brunch enthusiast or just love a well-executed classic, this dish alone is worth the visit. Beyond the French toast, the entire brunch menu was outstanding—from perfectly cooked eggs to flavorful sides and well-balanced cocktails that made the experience even more indulgent. The service was exceptional, thanks to an amazing server who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu, they ensured every detail was perfect, offering great recommendations and making us feel truly taken care of. It may have been just an off night, but food was not good. I was dining single before an event downtown and was relegated to a back corner along with the other “single” diners. (I made my reservation weeks in advance). Butter lettuce and pear salad was a beautiful presentation but swimming in salad dressing and had what appeared to be Frenches fried onion bits on top. Short Rib Ragú was in a thin watery sauce and heavily salted as was everything. The meat was overcooked and thin shards of it rested in a tasteless sauce. I seldom if ever send a meal back but really had to. The second choice meal (Striped Sea Bass) was overcooked and equally bland. The final straw was when the assistant food server food shamed me and asked if he should remove my bread (?- was I eating over the accepted limit while I waited my new meal- two half pieces?). The manager was very kind and apologetic and comped my meal which was very generous. However, it was a disappointing evening. Good things were service and ambiance. Maybe just a bad night.
