Located in the heart of Trump Turnberry is The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar with enchanting views across the famous links to the sea. The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar is a truly wonderful experience and the perfect place for afternoon tea in Ayrshire. Guests can also indulge in champagne by the glass or a special Hendricks Gin.

Featuring over 150 whiskies, it is the perfect place to relax and reflect. As dusk settles, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar comes alive as a meeting place for pre and post dinner drinks. Treat yourself to a glass of Trump wine or sample one of hundreds of whiskies behind the bar, recommended by one of our knowledgeable bartenders. Or, why not relax and unwind with some of our signature cocktails such as the 'Ailsa Breeze' which features a delicious combination of Hendrick’s gin, Elderflower, Lime, Mint, Cucumber and Ginger Ale.

I’d been here before so knew what to expect. My mum and sister hadn’t been and they were so impressed from start to finish. Food, surroundings, service, staff, just superb! I can’t think of anywhere better.

Huge let down in service compared to previous visits . Very disappointing experience , will not be back sadly. An afternoon tea at Turnberry is meant to be a special treat experience , where being made to feel special is what sets it apart rather used to set it apart. We have no complaints about the standard of food which was good. However , there was no one to welcome us, no one offered to take our jackets , there was no explanation and introduction to the various teas and the afternoon tea service ( from previous experience ) , no tea strainers , tea timers , tea trolley , the personal approach was missing completely ; there was a stained tea cup which we had to ask to be changed . Overall a mediocre experience .

Trump Turnberry is my favourite for afternoon tea, it was delicious and plentiful. The service is excellent and the views are simply stunning .

Great experience, however a little expensive but a great afternoon out to celebrate a special occasion. Service 5 star as is the food and surroundings.

"A truly delightful afternoon tea experience! The spread was sumptuous and generously portioned—so indulgent that I couldn’t quite manage my second scone, though it pained me to resist. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and thoughtful, ensuring every detail felt special. An extra touch was the Happy Birthday plate presented to my husband with some sweet treats. The setting itself was a highlight, offering a breathtaking view of Ailsa Craig’s rugged beauty from our table. An ideal blend of culinary charm and serene scenery—perfect for a leisurely treat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable outing!"

Visited a few years ago but things have gotten better which is marvellous. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Food and service 1st class.
