Nice experience with my 12 year old daughter. Food and ambiance were excellent. My only issue would with the service being sparse. I saw the back of my waiter 90% of the time. I had to wave down other waiters to get help.

I had booked for afternoon tea and was told the reservation was not for afternoon tea so we had to eat from the dinner menu at 4pm.. This was after we waited at the host stand for 15 mins to even get to check in. It was insanely overpriced. Cocktails were 30 dollars plus. They served our soup without spoons and we couldn’t get a waiter to bring the spoons for over 20 mins. I’ve had better tomato soup at a hospital cafeteria. I don’t mind spending money on quality food and service but this was a truly disappointing experience. I’m sure baccarat won’t care because they believe they will keep getting customers due to their name.

The hostess was really accommodating to me and my guest despite a very busy evening dealing with customers. I appreciate her caring attitude to enhance our experience.

For an elevated and refined afternoon tea, The Baccarat is continuously one of my favourite spots in New York. From seating, to decor, to an evolving spread of food that is expertly presented and assembled.

Gorgeous, glamorous and opulent environment. Definitely one of the most beautiful spots I’ve been to. The service was good, but food was very mediocre to be honest, especially in contrast to the quality of the surroundings. I didn’t feel like they had a good variety of options on the menu. I had the salmon and while it was very well-cooked, I found it to be a little bland and flavorless. But I would still come back in the future for their great cocktail menu.
