Enjoy Cold Brews & Rooftop Views in Downtown Norfolk - Grain is downtown Norfolk's scene-setting destination to unwind. With one of the best selections of craft beer in Norfolk, our rooftop bar offers a terraced patio with spectacular views of the Elizabeth River. Surrounded by the patio's landscaped trees and atmospheric lighting, sip a hand-crafted cocktail or craft beer socializing with guests and locals around the fire pit.

We are accepting Walk-ins only. We invite you to stop in an explore Norfolk’s only rooftop beer garden at your leisure. Thank you for choosing Grain as your dining destination! Heightened Covid-19 Prevention Procedures with Outdoor seating available (Weather Permitted).

Dining reservations are limited to 90 minutes to ensure all of our guests get an opportunity to enjoy Grain! Incomplete parties will be seated once all guests have arrived. Parking is located in Plume Street garage attached to the rear of the hotel.

Enjoyed the Christmas day brunch. Was very disappointed that there was no turkey or ham. The chicken was a little bit dry. However, the shrimp was delicious. I would say that the desserts need to be improved upon. In some cases, there wasn’t even any signage to say what it is and it felt like corners were cut. But our server was amazing and having the music was a perfect touch. We’re glad we ate here and we’ve done this before but hoping for better changes with the brunch in the future.

Christmas day brunch was amazing. First time away from family and friends for the holiday and it was surprisingly nice. Everything we ate was very flavorful and exciting. Karrina our waitress was exceptional. We are already making plans to go back next year.

Great Christmas Brunch with live music. So many delicious items to choose from the buffet. Great ambiance and the staff were attentive.

Buffet was great but the music was too loud from the performer to music over the speakers hard to talk to my son and husband at the table. Also the table we were put at I literally had to climb up on to the stools.. a smaller closer to the gound table would have been better since both my son and i are 5/1 and my feet were dangling .

The food and service were excellent and a good value for what we received. It was nice to have live entertainment but the volume was extremely loud and made table conversation difficult.

Thanksgiving dinner at Grain was an experience. Not only was Thanksgiving fare offered, but brunch items were offered as well. Our server was excellent and quite attentive to our needs. The noise level was rather high (even without the live entertainment), but that would likely not be the case during the summer months with outdoor seating available. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with excellent food and great seating.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Grain. We traveled from Atlanta, GA to visit family. Everything was excellent. Good food. Good fun. Good fellowship.
