The ambiance was perfect!! Dimly lit with beautiful architecture and very little noise. The food was delicious. We had wonton soup, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, the Golden Temple fried rice and the general gau’s chicken. All our food was made to order and came out piping hot!! Our waiter Quan was a true professional tending to our every need !! We will definitely be back to this very special restaurant!!!

Everything tastes very fresh and well prepared. The portions are on the generous side and we all took food home with us. It’s a beautiful space. It was during Chinese new year and we all got a special note with a half dollar coin attached as a gift which was lovely. The prices are on the higher side. I wanted to try their special ribs listed as a starter, but it was $31 and that felt like a lot. I would imagine a lot of effort goes into preparing them, but the price was a bit of a barrier in my mind. This is a restaurant we’ve driven by 1 million times and only went for the first time a couple weeks ago with some friends who recommended it. We came back with another couple because we had such a great experience. I would highly recommend you give it a go.

We dined at Golden Temple on a Wednesday to celebrate Chinese New Year. We were treated like royalty. The food was fresh and delicious. The dining room is a wonderful setting for a nice dinner for two or a large group.

Golden Temple is delicious! Oldie but goodie. Food is fresh and very tasty. On this visit, we did not have good service and felt rushed.

First time dining at The Golden Temple. We had Kon Pow Chicken, Wonton Soup, Barbecued spareribs and shrimp lomein. All were very good. Andy our waiter was nice. We moved back to the east coast 5 years ago from CA. This was the best Chinese Food we’ve had in MA and RI.

We went to Golden Temple on a Friday night at 5:45. We were quickly seated and a server came immediately to bring us menus and give us water. Shortly after our order was taken. I asked that the server make sure there was no sesame seed on my order and he assured me that there would be none. The drinks came quickly. As did the food. It was to our advantage that the restaurant was not especially crowded and we were amazed at the speed. The food was very good. We had potstickers and mandarin orange chicken and beef foo chow (?). All good. There were three of us and there was plenty of food left for us to bring home. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had not been to Golden Temple in many years- probably 40 some. Years ago it was THE place for Chinese food in the Brookline area. We decided to give it a try the other night. Staff were friendly, clearly the restaurant was upgraded and comfortable since the last visit but the food was totally disappointing. For us it was a nice trip back in time but one we won't take again. I am sorry to write this.

Waiter took our drink order - Came back 30 mins later - took our food order and never came back - an hour later we hunted down our food which was ice cold - it was bizarre
