Service was topnotch and the food was delicious! The menu is so approachable and I love that they do the half and full-serving sizes of pasta so that you can try other offerings on their menu. Looking forward to coming back again.

Gioia is a relatively new gem in Wooster Square, a neighborhood where most diners think only of pizza. Gioia has pizza too, but many other innovative and inviting options. My ricotta-filled ravioli was first rate, as was the citrus salad. My husband was wildly enthusiastic about his gnocchi caccio pepe. There is an ample and very fairly priced list of mostly Italian wines. The dining room is very attractive and tables are well spaced. Worth many return visits.

Excellent on all levels - highly recommend and will return soon to try some of the other delicious options. Fresh pasta with braised lamb was really good!

Food is excellent, I personally LOVE the GNOCCHI CACIO PEPE! But pretty much everything is good. Staff is also excellent, the vibe of the restaurant is customer service focused and friendly. Go, try it, have one of their delicious specialty drinks and have fun:)

our 1st brunch at Gioia & of course it didn’t disappoint. So many great dishes it’s hard to choose - so we got a lot - haha. Must try’s - Cacio e pepe scrambled eggs, the Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs Benedict. They had a beef checks hash special - if they have it - GET IT! so much more to try across their menus - we’ll be back.

It's a wonderful restaurant. Avi is a genius. Among Gioia's many merits is that they regularly add new dishes to the menu. Plenty of vegetarian options. I brought some Italians from Milan who were very impressed by the authenticity and quality.

Been here several times now & always great! This last trip was their New Years Day brunch & everything was delicious! We’ll be back for sure!
