Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.

Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm,
If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Maximum party size is 5 Friday and Saturday, Bar seating available.

    My friend and I came to try the new Sunday pre fixe menu. Both of us have been to Gia many times before and have loved it in the past. Sadly this time it seems to have lost some of its charm in terms of food quality. Focaccia was dry compared to past visits - although we liked the addition of the maple butter. In the past I remember the lettuce for the baby gem being of higher quality - this was mainly core pieces that didn’t have dressing properly dispersed, as well as less toppings than prior visits. Mains were delicious, we had the squash risotto and the mushroom agnolotti. The olive oil cake was delicious as usual, but we really missed the old additions of fruit to cut the mouth coating fattiness that the buttercream brings. Overall still good value, $45 pp for 3 courses. Ambiance is lovely. Will return but hoping this was just an off day and not the new normal.

    Went for dinner with husband and daughter. Had a pretty good martini and daughter had a great “baked goods” mocktail. Had the warm olives and focaccia bread as a starter. Ordered Brussel sprouts but were too spicy for daughter. Husband had rigatoni bolognese which was amazing. I had risotto which was just alright. Split tiramisu for dessert, pretty good. Service was just ok. They didn’t tell us anything about the food. The rigatoni bolognese was great though.

    We didn’t have the best experience taking a toddler to this place. It’s better suited for couples and small friend groups. Best not to take the fam here if you have a <5 yo. Ordered the ricotta, salad and meatballs. They were all just meh. Nothing to write home about.

    Had a wonderful dinner with attentive staff and delicious and beautifully plated appetizers & entrees, layered flavours and desserts that were so so good. Would recommend and definitely return for seconds!
