Es posible sentirse en Italia al pasar los dos calderos de fuego a la entrada del Ghidotti's. El clásico restaurante italiano Ghidotti's combina la arquitectura romana del Viejo Mundo junto con el soleado ambiente mediterráneo para crear un maravilloso fondo para una comida "clásica italiana". No hay que esperar manteles a cuadros rojos y velas en botellas de chianti en mimbre, los comensales se sorprenden agradablemente por la riqueza de detalles en el diseño y la atención a todos los aspectos de la comida y el servicio. Excelente servicio y comida, la entradas nos encanttaron, la pasta no me gustó mucho. La mesera tenía un poco de prisa por nuestra cuenta.

Very enjoyable! Nicholas (our waiter) did an excellent job and was very attentive. Food was also very good. Had reservations but arrived a bit late and that was not a problem. Great experience overall!

We had a party of 6, three couples. Service at the beginning was spot on. The waitress took our order and gave some good recommendations. The service level started to drop after dinner was served. Limited follow up as she was taking care of other tables. At the end we asked for the bill and split it by couples. She said they couldn’t do that. An experienced waitress would ask how the bill would be paid when you see two or more. We asked for the manager and he quickly fixed the bill and split it accordingly. The waitress came back with all 3 bills, dropped it on the table and went off to another table. No apology for the inconvenience. Sad that such a wonderful restaurant with excellent food would have subpar service from their waiters. Perhaps it was an anomaly. Might give it another chance some day.

I love food and have eaten at some really amazing places. This honestly, was the best meal I have ever had. Being from the East coast we were skeptical of the calamari but it was amazing. I got the spinach ricotta gnocchi and it was better than my grandmas. The portion was a bit small, but I know, if handmade it is very labor intensive. I had a few bites of my son’s chicken parm and it was really good too. The chocolate martini and 4 small cones of gelato were equally amazing. Proves, although not cheap, were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Service was a bit slow, but it was a Friday night during peak season and we were happy not to be rushed. Best meal I’ve ever had. Blows Gordon Ramsay’s in Boston (my previous favorite) out of the water.
