I had eaten lunch at George’s a few years and had a great experience! I was looking forward to taking my family there for dinner. Service was wonderful, however the food was off. The mozzarella ball appetizers were cold and hard, my girls ordered 2 filet mignons ($48 each) took one bite and left the rest. The meat just didn’t taste good. (We also tried a bite) My salmon was fine and my husband enjoyed his short ribs. For dessert we ordered crème brûlée and strawberry shortcake. The shortcake was terrible and the brûlée had whipped cream all over the top. It ruined the experience of cracking into the dessert. Our bill was close to $300, so it was really disappointing that we didn’t enjoy the food.

Dinner outside on the patio with heaters was very nice. Food was good and service was good. However, we had made reservations thru Open Table and had received a confirmation but when we arrived there was no reservation. Luckily, there was a table available outside under the heaters.

We discovered this gem through Instagram. The menu didn’t disappoint us- We had the best roasted beet salad ever!!! We shared but honestly I wish we hadn’t!! I wanted more- Then we split lamb chops with a delicious cream sauce and roasted potatoes and the lobster mac n cheese- so very delicious- I just wish they served Meiomi- then my night would’ve been perfect!

Good food, easy parking, quiet enough for conversation. This was my third time for lunch only. It is pricey. It seems the prices keep sneaking up. The food is yummy! The salmon salad was delicious with a big piece of salmon but $24. I’ve always enjoyed the pear and brie Panini. Service was not great this time. I think there was only one waitress. She was sweet but inattentive. She said we could flag her down when we needed something. That took getting out of the seat twice.

We went to George's for a surprisingly quiet New Year's Eve meal, but this is what we were hoping for. They brand themselves as a "bistro", and I get it, but the prices seem rather high for this environment/atmosphere. The service was a bit slow, especially with how slow they were. Maybe their "A team" wasn't all there given it was New Year's Eve. We started with the crab cakes (it should have been singular), and it was the best taste of the night. We had the cacio e pepe with chicken added, and it was fine, but nothing great. We also ordered the signature George's burger (unclear on the menu if it was to be served on a but or what). To be fair, the waiter tried to steer me away from this as he said the kitchen had missed badly on temperature earlier that night. But I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Now I'm a of medium rare person, or even a little mid-rare/under", but this burger was still mooing! After the warning from the waiter, I didn't want to send it back, but this was basic burger grilling at its worst. There are too many other nice places where the food and atmosphere is better and comes with more value. Worth a try, but I don't see a return in my future.
