Located on the historic Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO, Gemini is a full service restaurant focused on contemporary Spanish food and wine and its international influences.

The menu is guided by the seasons and highlights sustainably farmed meats and produce from Colorado purveyors. Taking cues from the cuisines of Barcelona and San Sebastian, we offer traditional tapas items, including Patatas Bravas, Pan con Tomate, meatballs, and Boquerones. Larger dishes from land and sea include Octopus, Cauliflower a la Plancha, and Basque Braised Lamb.

Our beverage program features organic, low-intervention wines from Spain and the West Coast, classic cocktails, and selections from Colorado’s craft brewing community.

We had a wonderful valentines dinner at Gemini. Even though it was completely full, the food was overall quite good (one exception, see below), the wait staff attentive without hovering, and the ambience relaxed. We had two (minor) hiccups preventing this from being a perfect meal (the way it usually is here): There was a longer than usual amount of time between when our appetizer/salad came out and the entree/sides were delivered. in fact, we felt the need to inquire whether our entree order had somehow got misplaced - but it did get delivered and of course was quite tasty. The other issue for us was we ordered a crab/endive dish that included flavors that neither my wife or I really appreciated - the endive was more bitter than typical (and I use endive a fair amount in my own cooking), overpowering the crab. But, that may just be our taste buds, your. mileage may vary!

We have eaten here many times. This is the first time that the food was overly salted. Service and wine were great.

As always Gemini delivers a wonderful dining experience. The vibe is just right. The service is hands down some of the best in Boulder…knowledgeable staff and great recommendations. Food and beverages were all amazing. We had a really fun evening there with friends for Valentine’s Day and shared some of the special menu offerings which we all enjoyed. Thanks, Gemini!

The food was excellent, but the service was not up to par. Waitress was very sweet, but so not professional. Couldn't tell me where oysters were from, did not have a clear handle on what we were ordering, cleared my plate while husband was still eating, rushed us into ordering desert before husband was finished eating, didn't clear up mess on table before delivering another course...just felt like service did not equate to price (dinner was over $200 for two including tip)

Definitely a different take on tapas - not very authentic. The olives not necessarily Spanish - even some kalamatas thrown in. The Spanish Tortilla was more like an omelette with potatoes in it. Grilled octopus, while tasty, came in big chunks rather than tentacles in aioli. I appreciate creative flare, but there's something to be said for authenticity.

Great service, with great food, the only complaint i would have is some of the Tapas were a little smaller than expected. even to "share" as 2 people we were expecting a little more. i think the chicken skewers were $13 and we got 1 skewer with a few small bites of chicken. i would have liked to have 2 skewers. Regardless everything was seasoned nicely, and had great flavor. The cocktails were also very good. I would go back again for a nice date night.

We got one thing from each part of the menu: a shareable anchovy appetizer, a salad with fried artichoke hearts, PEI Mussels, and the cauliflower entree. Everything was delicious - full of flavor and beautifully presented. We had cocktails and glasses of wine. The total bill was less than expected for a meal at this level.
