Nice, accommodating and patient with my out of town parents when we came between brunch and dinner menu - they let us wait for the dinner menu to start with drinks. Tables larger than 4 are outside on the patio in an enclosed plastic area with space heaters. The tables were kind of wobbly and it made us spill a glass of water - their fix was to stack cardboard coasters under the table which kept falling and almost caused another spill. Maybe this could be fixed? The restaurant and bar inside is BEAUTIFUL and really nicely designed. All our food was great - one entree was late and they took it off our bill, and they gave us a free dessert because they heard it was a birthday. One real complaint though - the bathrooms are WAY WAY too dark. Like so dark you almost can’t tell if you’re aiming right. Had to open the door to wash my hands. Everyone in our party agreed (with lots of different aged eyes, from 20s to 60s!). Lots of bushwick bars have dim bathrooms (I get it, ambiance) but this was just way too dark for a bathroom, and especially one in a restaurant that serves food.

For an uncrowded Sunday early evening, service was a bit slow, but pleasant server and time between ordering and receiving entrees was too slow. Food however was wonderful

Everything about our experience was: YIKES. Made dinner reservations for my husband’s birthday but after waiting an hour to be seated and each order + be served one drink, we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Woefully under-staffed, meaning long waits, dirty/not-bussed tables, the bar was littered with cups + plates + napkins from former patrons. Water glasses we were served hadn’t been properly cleaned. It was a total bummer.

It feels like this restaurant has changed menu, pricing, & layout every 3 months since opening. What was amazing over the summer ended up as plastic patio table inside with a much less interesting menu. It was more expensive and the cocktails were terrible (made by our server who clearly was not a bartender). Nothing matches what’s listed on the website and no mention of the once legendary happy hour. Lol. We’re not writing off the place just yet, but what was a hidden gem is now a risky RISKY bet.

It was my birthday the workers couldn’t be nicer & welcoming. The food was delicious. They made my celebration so special. I will definitely go back.

We went to gemellis for my husband birthday with our 4 adult children and not one of us were disappointed. The food was very flavorful and the portion was perfect. The waiter and waitress we had were friendly. We sat in the outside enclosure and had a nice view of Manhattan We will definitely go back.

loved the sunday supper! i love the roof and bar seats. we did have a bit of a draft issue at our table. My main complaint is wait time on the drink order. food arrived before wine.

Food was amazing! Everything we ordered was BEYOND great. The service was outstanding too and prices were very reasonable. Ordered the spicy shrimp, cacio e pepe and the steak. But all of the pastas we saw others ordered looked amazing as well. Will definitely be back!!
