Gauchos are the cowboys of South America – a national symbol of pride and tradition. The residents of Rio Grande do Sul, a Brazilian state, are affectionately referred to as “Gauchos”. This state, renowned for its unique churrasco barbecue, is the birthplace of Chef Edmilson Rodrigues. It is there, in Brazil’s top barbecue houses, that Ede learned and perfected his craft.
Feel transported as ancient Brazilian traditions come alive in our churrascaria –our house of barbecue– and special place that bursts with authentic South American atmosphere and charm.

Maybe due to the Christmas rush seemed our waitress was wore out, almost seemed she was filling in to help with the busy season. Our waitress was very unprofessional and incompetent, was never around when needed. It was difficult to order apts, sides and salads. Seemed she couldn’t remember more than one item at a time, We pretty much gave up and started ordering the meat. The selection was very limited, they didn’t have hardly half of what’s on the menu and one variety of sausage was extremely salty. I could go on, very disappointing, barely 1 star! I should have tipped accordingly but it was close to Christmas and I felt sorry for the waitress as she obviously was burnt out, seemed she was working to survive so I tipped way more the deserved! I would not go back, very disappointed!

Highly recommend the ribeye and beef ribs but everything was amazing, service was awesome and ambience is romantic, social and great for a special occasion.

The food was amazing. Wish that once you found what you liked you could get that food to come back more but overall amazing. Amy was our waitress and had been there only a few days and was terrific. I will ask to be in her section again as she was a great server, very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. She did help make it much better with her knowledge, to the point we thought she had worked there for a very long time. Thanks we will be back.

This was my second time coming to eat here and it was amazing. The only suggestion I would make is to have some sort of table cloth or plates that don’t slip around because I found that I could barely cut my meat because of the glass top being so slippery on the bottom of my plate. Other than that I loved it and will definitely be coming here again.

Had a company Christmas party here, the meal was excellent, service was awesome. Staff is friendly, food excellent, restaurant was very well decorated.

I haven’t been to Gaucho in ages,, last time I went was when the location was by Chinook mall so it’s been quite a while. The ambience at the new location was nice, we were greeted promptly at the door, were seated at a small table but I requested to be moved to the booth and they were able to move us to the booth. Drinks and food were great, I was a bit disappointed there’s no more salad bar as at times it was very hard to find our server, our server wasn’t the most friendly person but it was an okay service,, the open table booking asked if it was a special occasion which I noted but nothing was acknowledged by the staff or restaurant,, overall, I was happy with food and the meat servers but server did put a little bit of dent in my experience. Definitely could have been better.

Service was great. Food was great, nice and hot off the grill. Would definitely order only a couple salads to start as the Gouchos came out pretty frequently and ran out of room on the table. Great experience and will be back!
