Gapsted Estate, located near Myrtleford in Victoria's High Country, is an award-winning Australian family-owned winery producing premium cool climate wines from the King and Alpine Valleys. We produce innovative wine varieties including Fiano and Saperavi, as well as classic styles such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.

We had the summer set menu, entree and main course was lovely but dessert could have been better. Overall a lovely place to dine, we have been there many times and the food is always lovely, staff and service excellent and wines very good. We will keep coming back.

Couldn’t fault anything about our lunch - food, service, wine and outlook was all wonderful. A lovely way to spend the afternoon.

We visit Gapsted each year for our anniversary celebration. Always excellent. Sitting out on the deck overlooking vineyards and gums - couldn’t be better. Always had very good food and service. Yesterday we had the set food/wine menu and at $75 each it is excellent value. Really like the explanations you get, both in writing and from the waiter, on the food and the paired wines. The main meal yesterday was poached snapper. It was a generous serving, as always, but we did think the sauce overwhelmed it a little. The entree of goats cheese, walnuts and figs was excellent and also very generous. Really didn’t need the desert but we struggled on! We stay at Bright each year and it is a 30 minute drive to the winery so you need to ensure you don’t overindulge on the wines. But we fully recommend it.

The menu is interesting with scope from a la carte or set menu. Very good service and the food was interesting and tasty.

Made to feel very welcome at Gapstead Estate. The team were warm and professional, food was great, and the ambience unparalleled. Exceptional value. I’ll be back for sure.

Beautiful venue Excellent service Meals delicious and very different Had the 'special ' 3 course and matching wines Poached fish, just ok,potato salad superb. Entrees delicious. Desert was ok, not as good Wines, great choices and very enjoyable. Very good value for a top class restaurant, winery and location 👏

Lovely environment good value. Wine in particular was fabulous, great list at reasonable prices. Food good presentation and quality.
