Welcome to our Home, Gallagher’s Boxty House.

A family owned restaurant that celebrates Traditional Irish Cuisine and Culture with a Modern twist.

We were proudly making Boxty for the last 36 years in the heart of Dublin's Cultural quarters, Temple Bar.

The Boxty recipes date back to 17th-18th century Ireland. Award winning chef Padraic Óg Gallagher reimagined the dishes and confidently recreated these classics in a 21st century setting without forgetting our humble past.

                                                                        Excelente lugar y en Dublín para probar sus famosos Boxties. El lugar tiene muy buen ambiente y está siempre lleno. La comida tradicional está rica, pero los precios quizás son algo elevados (como en toda la zona central de Dublín) El personal es tan amable, que en ocasiones "agobia" un poco. No obstante, recomiendo probarlo.

                                                                        Everything was absolutely delicious. The waiter was fantastic, kind, informative, and pleasant. We appreciated how he asked us at the start if we had any allergies as we did. He made us feel confident that we wouldn’t be exposed. We had the corned beef, shepard’s pie, and beef stew. All perfect! Would highly recommend.
