Gaja is a special place. I almost don't want to write a review as I imagine it might turn into one of those places you have to book months in advance as it's so lovely. I've lived in Bournemouth for more than 2 decades and it's the best meal I've had. The food was so delicious. All cooked fresh and you could taste that. They cook it to your taste so it was the prefect level of spicey for me. So many flavours. Amazing. The service is very friendly and attentive but not overly in your face, just right. The decor, the music, the atmosphere. I cannot think of one negative I loved it there. I will be going back again soon.

Great food and the best service I've ever had anywhere. Went for son's birthday and a card and complimentary shots were the icing on the cake. Deserves to be a huge success.

Delicious freshly cooked food with flavour intensity to suit your preferences. Everything we ate was perfect, the service was above and beyond. No detail has been missed to make this a really lovely relaxed evening out.

The layout of the restaurant is modern and stylish and a great addition to the Charminster area. The staff were friendly and helpful, but most importantly, the food was really tasty and a bit different. There are lots of vegetarian options and prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back and would recommend to others to try it.

Really positive about all aspects of our visit. The atmosphere and intimacy of the restaurant adds to the experience. The portion sizes are very generous and whilst not the biggest choice of menu options there is plenty of variety and they cook to strength. The service is really efficient and courteous and the whole experience wants you to return again which we will!

First visit here with the boys for our monthly Curry. We were all really impressed at the quality, attentiveness of the team and overall experience. We rarely return to a venue but this will be one we will! Well done. Keep up the good work

Really enjoyed our first visit to Gaja. Food and service were excellent. Some of our group found some dishes a little spicy so ensure you let your server know if you prefer it mild and they will sort it. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful restaurant. The food was incredible. Some of the tastiest Indian food we have had. The service is 5 star. Friendly/helpful and our glasses were never empty. It was my husband’s birthday and they surprised him with cake, candles, shots and lovely card. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back in the future
