Took our son and daughter in law for a special occasion. The restaurant itself was both beautiful and cozy. The staff was helpful and timely. And the food, was out of this world. Reminded me of grandmom’s house, if not better! Those zeppoli are a MUST! You have to go!

Amazing food, fantastic service. Love the location in the heart of Ambler. Just a bit loud in the dining room, but still a great evening!

It took an hour and 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The service was excellent and several questions re: the menu were answered BUT I had to take my dinner with me...had an appt. at 7:15 at the Theater and we arrived at restaurant before 6.

Delicious, fresh pasta… And the bread basket is scrumptious. Fun atmosphere and a great place to go after seeing a movie at the Ambler theater.

Our waiter was attentive without being obtrusive. The wine and food was excellent and the prices reasonable. We were seated away from the bar area, so we were able to have a conversation with our friends. Closer to the bar tends to be a lot noisier.

We hadn’t been to From the Boot for awhile. Only there one other time for a group party. It was good then and is still a good place to eat. Service was really excellent. Our server was very attentive and they started with rolls and water right away. Service kept up through the meal. I had the Chicken Franchese and my husband had the scallop special with fusilli and spinach in a light white cream sauce. The meal would have been 5 star, but there was too much salt added to the vegetables. Also my broccoli rabe had a clump of butter in it with one bite.. Keep in mind if you order scallops, you will get 3. 4 would be a better portion. We would go back there again.

We were late, about a half a hour to be exact; however the service was still impressive and the food was hot, delicious but most of all plated beautifully. I'm a stickler for how my food is presented to me. The price point was excellent and we closed the place down! Lol! What a beautiful evening with friends celebrating a matriarch who turned 81! We will definitely be back!!
