El restaurante Fork, reconocido por su cocina estadounidense contemporánea desde hace más de 15 años, cuenta con el menú del chef Eli Kulp, consagrado en 2014 como el mejor nuevo chef por Food & Wine, inspirado en los mejores productos, mariscos y carnes de la región, así como en la rica historia de la zona.     El lugar es muy lindo y cálido y el servicio muy bueno, la comida estaba bien aún que esperaba más. En general me gusto el lugar pero por el servicio y el ambiente, la comida le falta un toque más de sabor.

    Went for restaurant week Jan. ‘25 with reasonably high expectations, given the James Beard recognition. The service was totally fine, especially the front of the house, but that’s about it. The restaurant week menu was pretty unimaginative, and all of our dishes had really underwhelming presentation. I asked if the fish entree came in a broth, because, if so, I would rather have something else. The server’s description sounded like it came with a purée drizzle poured table-side, but, sadly, it came with a broth that was poured over the entire dish. We did eat all of our food - because it tasted fine - but we left that 3 course meal still super hungry. The service was fine enough and the restaurant is cute and intimate, but unfortunately the food just didn’t measure up to a James Beard restaurant.

    My partner and I are new to Philly and we love exploring new restauants. Fork will definitely be one of our date night go-to’s for special occasions. A little pricey, but the food, drinks, and service are worth every dollar. Natalie was our server, and besides being so fun, she steered us towards some great recommendations and went the extra mile when she could!

    We really enjoyed the cocktail specials and especially the mushroom gnocchi which is a must to order. The tuna appetizer also stood out as the flavor was amazing. Both dinners we ordered were also great as we ordered the swordfish and striped bass. The bass was definitely better. Service was great and attentive.

    Although we had a reservation, we opted to eat at the bar. It's the same menu and the bartenders were very attentive. We found the food to be delicious! The cocktails were METICULOUSLY crafted. Just a joy to watch. The noise level was low so my husband and I were able to enjoy our meal and hear each other with ease. Noise level is a big pet peeve and I appreciate a restaurant that tries to keep the house at a lively but not so "energetic" level that you have to shout and strain to hear.
